This hat is perhaps one of the nicest hats ever to come into our home. It has maybe a total of 5 hours being on a human head. LOL! you can see there is not even one single mark on this hat. It is clean, soft as a baby's butt, will shape any way you want it to shape and has no issues at all, it is like brand spanking new. The sweatband is super soft and supple, you can see some waves in the sweatband but those are only there due to sizing strips being behind the leather as my Husband wears closer to a 7 1/2 LO then a 7 5/8th long oval. This has a 2 5/8th inch brim and as bashed the crown comes in a bit more than 5 1/2 inches tall, and over 6 inches tall at open crown. I cannot include any fancy box for this but I will double box it up for any shipping.

Now for the business part of this. I do NOT have to sell this hat. I cannot entertain any lower offers either. You cannot find a hat like this one every day of the week, some would say if they had this hat in their hand in person it is of a museum quality as it is just that clean and new looking. This is a real 1950's treasure.

The income from the sales of this hat will be used to help other people that need some financial help and soon. If you are like us here you do not have a money tree and ours is not dropping any large bills off it lately. SO..to help someone out, we decided to sell something to come up with some extra moolah! My pictures of this hat do not do this hat justice. We have had some super nice hats come and go...this is by far the number one vintage hats and nicer than some that are said to be of nicer felt or desired more. If you buy this hat you will find out hard to beat this hat for a thin ribbon.

The price shipped any where in the "CONUS" is set at $265.00 which I will always add insurance in case of any issues with damages or loss from the USPS.

The color is the Dobbs Silverbelly. You can see it comes from Texas and Texas has some sweet hats indeed!

Know by buying this from us, you are giving some help to someone that needs some financial help and as we do not have much extra cash laying around to send at this time, the sale of this hat will help with gas money for a person to drive to work, and help another person have food on their table. It will be helping out two other members of the Lounge. What more of a total bargain can you ask for? You can buy a new hat but spend far more and for those that have owned a clean Dobbs 20 like this, I do not think you could talk them into a trade.

I just used the good old measuring tape on this for the inside of the hat, the length is just a hair short of 8 and 1/2 inches....and on how wide the inside is, just about dead on at 6 3/4 of an inch. Daniel normally wears a LO 7 1/2 but some 7 5/8 hats work also...this one had to have some padding to fit him really snug. Hope that helps you or anyone else in need of looking for a sweet vintage hat to own....thanks so much Tom.

Thank you sir. It was an easy choice to make. We can find other hat deals (like what you mostly sell is super) but, we have to look at how we can help someone that deserves the help.
