Langlitz Flight Jacket

Hi all,

I am watching the Outerwear forum for more than a year now and you all making me crazy with all the nice things you show up here and the informative talk. I saw a Langlitz Flight Jacket lately and I loved the simplicity of it. But there is not much to find and there are not much pics on the net. Can you please help me out a bit. There is goat and light or medium cowhide. From pics and stories I have read I would go for a cow. Does any of you have a Flight Jacket from LL or does anyone can show me some more pics of a jacket like that?

Welcome to the lounge! I am also a big fan of Langlitz and I own two of their jackets, a Cascade and a Columbia. I think that one reason that you may not see many examples of the Langlitz flight jacket is because it is not really their specialty. For about the same price of a new Langlitz you could buy a flight jacket from Eastman or Aero, two companies that specialize in this style.
Having said that, I can also say that Langlitz makes a great jacket and their customer service is excellent. Both of my jackets are medium cowhide and I highly recommend this leather. Good luck with your search.
