Hi all,
I have a few size 44 jackets that are just too big on me and am selling some now that cooler weather is approaching. I am 5' 8" and 175 pounds; basically a 40-42 suit and jacket, and for reference, I usually take a medium t-shirt or a Slim Fit 16.5 neck/ 34" sleeve dress shirt.
Here is a 2003 Langlitz Columbia I just picked up on Etsy about a month ago. I wore it once to the movies with the missus and unfortunately it's just too big for me. It's a bespoke, But I would call it a roomy 44 or maybe even a snug 46. This one would work well for someone a little taller than me, with a stocky or athletic build. It's mainly too long in the arms and too big in the shoulders for me.
I will say - this was my first Langlitz (I've been coveting one for years), and all I can say is, they live up to the hype. I started out with Wilson's jackets from the local mall and worked my way up to Schott and Vanson. Nice as those are, this jacket screams quality. The leather, construction, hardware and the fit are definitely top level stuff.
MEASUREMENTS:
All measurements taken on outside of coat, zipped and laid flat.
Chest taken under arms - 48 inches.
Shoulders - measured across the back from shoulder seam to seam - 21.25 inches.
Sleeve from shoulder seam to sleeve cuff - 25.5 inches.
Sleeve from bottom of collar seam to sleeve cuff - 31.5 inches.
Length taken from top to bottom of jacket 27 in.
Bottom edge measured all the way around - 38-42 (adjustable) inches.

This one is in excellent condition inside and out - it looks almost new and is barely broken in. Exterior shows no significant wear. Leather is very strong and pliable. There are a few tiny marks which look far worse in the photos than in person -
the whitish area on the left collar/neck seen here is more of a reflection in the photos (see detail photo, with no white marks). Interior lining is fully intact and in excellent clean condition with only a very small dime-sized amount of wear near collar (see detail - looks a little threadbare, but no hole there). Very clean pocket linings. Zips and snaps are perfect. The leather thongs have been removed from the zipper pulls.
I'm looking for $825 shipped anywhere in the Con US; I will ship internationally with buyer paying exact shipping to their location.
