we did a diner trip today, and hit a lot of antique shops.
One booth made me absolutely mad.
there was a mint Mallory, a mint resistol, a Lee and something else I can't remember. All were about 45 bucks. All were size seven. Argh!
On the other side of the same antique mall was a top hat for something like 75 bucks. It was a size 7-3/8. Too big for me, and I would have bought it and flipped it, but I'd spent my little bit of money on a t-shirt at one of the diners and on two pairs of vintage sunglasses.
I also ran across a comple more lees, a staw amish hat, a '30's amish felt hat with gorgeous felt from a hatter called airflyte or something like that, about 10 empty knox boxes, a morfelt, and two size 7-1/2 boaters. Lots of hats to be had, not a one that fit me.
