What is the thing with them ? They continually go for large money online..

I wore one for 3 years before I knew it was worth something at one time.

Can some one fill me in?

DeLong sportswear, one of the original makers of "Fingertips" or clicker style still makes them. But the clicker is the original and considered the cadillac of jackets

All it takes is two or ten people to start a trend.... and start bidding over each other, that is why.
Then vintage dealers are on it like stink on ..........

Another cheap and easy jacket to find in the midwest.
Superbly made and comfortable as well.

Thanks folks. I had one for while that I wore to the threads. Picked up another in a thrift shop a few years ago. Mint condition . I've hung onto it but seeing the prices they continually bring I'm thinking of unloading it.

I just never was able to get any info on what makes them so in demand...

A practical coat for sure and it has all the 50's style...
