In my travels and search for the ultimate fedora for myself, I have encountered many ladies hats at the vintage dealers I have managed to find so far.
In fact I have found probably 3 times as many ladies hats as mens.
Apart from the obvious, (cheap, garish, stiff, and new looking) what are some good indicators of a hat's collectability?
Are there particular labels that are most desirable? Styles? Sizes? Are materials such as fur more desirable than others?
Most of the hats I've come across are under 10 dollars and I would be glad to purchase some of the better ones to offer for resale to FL members that may be searching for a particular hat. I will sell at my cost plus postage.
Maybe this is a tough question to answer, as I have seen inumerable styles out there,...[huh]
