I was once told by a StarBucks barista that they soon would be serving it - but it never materialized. I would try it - if someone else was buying!! Expensive stuff that "monkey coffee"! -dixon cannon

Civet coffee, is it good?

Heck yes - I drink it here in Vietnam on a regular basis. It's so much better than ordinary coffee- not acidic, naturally sweet and (ironically) chocolaty. It sounds gross - animal poop coffee, but goodness - I'm a believer! If you like coffee and you try it, you will be a convert too.

Monkey coffee I believe is much more expensive than civet coffee though.

I tried it last year. A friend of mine's son was part of the Yale's medical research in Indonesia and Malaya and travelled extensively around south east Asia. He brought a bag as a gift. To be honest I was not really impressed. I only drink espresso and I found that it was too mild for my taste.

By the way I saw that Trung Nguen on line shop in US carries it.
