another hat I hate to part with.
The truth is I just don't wear black hats ... don't feel comfortable in them.
I want someone to enjoy this beautiful hat

The hat is in absolutely perfect condition and looks unworn and the felt is very soft

The hat is marked 7 1/2 under the sweat but fits like a 7 1/4

I am a 7 1/4 and it fits me perfectly.

No stains , mothing , or smells at all

Brim - 2 3/8
Crown - open 5 3/4 - bashed as shown 4 1/2
Ribbon - 2 1/8

Geez....put a new light colored ribbon on it, and wear it like you stole it! HA! A big fat yellow ribbon or sky blue....those lighter colors would make that hats features stand out instead of being "washed out" from the solid black!

She's got a point, Moon. Maybe if you tried switching out the ribbon on a black hat, it would make the difference. I also think a dark red/burgundy would work.

I've got some wonderful vintage 2" burgundy if you're interested.

We have a black hat that needs a sweatband that is almost exactly a Strat, eventually will send to Tonyb for some work and a off white hat that will need a new ribbon, it is white and washes into the white color of the hat too much. And one that is a thin ribbon that is a good looker!

I am shocked however no one has purchased this hat!?! My Lord where you going to find a nice looking hat like this, no issues and wide brim, tall crown and true vintage? All for less that a "C" note!

Same here, except I already have 3 black hats.Though this one would have topped them all, I just couldn't pull the trigger. I'm shocked that this was not scooped up.

FWIW, I've received the most positive comments when wearing a black fedora. Just sayin'

Until recently I have not had a black fedora. To me they always looked too 'gangstery.'

But I decided I needed one and pulled the trigger on my Resistol BW. Now I want one or two more. If this one was my size I would've gone for it.
