knocking 'em dead at a pic nic

I have my annual union pic nic tomorrow. There are a few good lookin fellas that I would like to take notice of me as a lady. Whats some good fashion advise for runnin around a park full of gopher holes ( I sprung my ankle badly 2 years ago in flip flops, what a clutz!) for a curvy gal. I'm not sure I want to do a dress for the park since it's more than like going to be windy or breezy since it has been a tad bit the last few days. Other wise, please have the suggestions rolling in.

How about a pair of gaucho or capri pants, with a button-up shirt and cardigan sweater in case it cools off? Would look lovely paired with a pair of mary janes or low wedges, and a sun hat. Nice and well-polished, without being over-dressed or pretentious.
