I've liked these since I saw a picture of one online a few years ago. Patrick and his offerings and lifestyle are the "preppiest thing on Instagram," as it's said.
The bracelets have a New England history. Supposedly, kids would weave them at the beginning of summer and not remove them until it was time for school to start. They would become dirty, faded, sweated up, and have to be cut off by their mothers.
Everything is made at the company headquarters in Rhode Island.
I have one which was a gift I've worn through two summers and it has faded nicely. I rather like it a lot.
