JUST WON THESE

I have never heard of this style but it looks good and it seems to have all the tags too.It looks like it may have a Cav edge or an over welt. Either will be good I am happy.

Now I don't need to look for brown OR type of hat. This one will fit the bill just fine.

You won both hats? You have scored a great buy on both. The Stetson looks fine, and so does the Mallory. The box alone is worth what you paid. I hope they are clean, with no mothing. Send pic's when they arrive. You have shown that there are still good buys out there!

I was suprized that there were not more bidders on either one.I was sure there would be a race at the end. The prices seem very reasonable considering what I have paid in the past.Has anyone seen a WEEKENDER before?

never seen a weekender. Seems to have an early-ish (40s/50s) size tag.

From the photo it looks to have a tall crown which makes me happy. The name also has a user friendly tone to it,kind of a knock around hat.

Great. Another style I have been looking for for years. The weekender was a super style. Why did Stetson have to go and ruin it with its modern interpretation? :eusa_doh:
I might have an ad around here somewhere for the Weekender but obviously it was meant as a more casual hat for weekend wear rather than some super formal style. To me it is just as formal as any other fedora though---except the black ones. [huh]
