I found these two coats at the thrift shop yesterday:

A nearly new Gloverall duffle coat for $6.99

And a London Fog wool topcoat for $4.99

That duffle coat is superb what a bargain it looks un-worn,new good ones cost a packet.

I have that Gloverall duffle coat that I bought new a long time ago. It's a great coat.

I've always wanted a Gloverall duffle coat, but could never afford one new. They turn up fairly regularly in the thrift shops here (lots of retired Brits), but this is the first one that was my size and not well-worn. Since there's no wear at all on the leather toggle thongs and it's clean as new, I don't think this one's been worn more than a half-dozen times.

I am one very happy monkey.
