Just acquired...

[Midnight Palace]

This is original sheet music from 1890 featuring John Hyams (Leila's father) when he was with Gorman's Minstrels...before his Broadway days. In 1890 he would've been 21 years old. I just won it from Ebay

Very nice! I collected music sheets in high school, they're so interesting historically and the graphics are often lovely.

So many have the previous owner's name on them. It always puts me in mind of parties where everyone brought their own music--must have been fun.
