Judging a jacket's vintage? - Pics Added

Only vaguely associated with my tweed question, it so happens that I came across two tweed-like jackets in a thrift shop that actually fit. They have that "stored for a long time" smell, but are otherwise clean and appear unused based on some temporary vent stitching and such still being in place.

Anyway, I don't know if there is a way to figure out an approximate age on these. Any advice on clues to look for?

Would full photos help, or mainly the tags and such? I guess I'm not sure what would be valuable to show. I will try to get photos on Sunday, if the light is good.

Nope, definitely not Harris Tweed. If I were that lucky (paying $10 for a Harris) I'd would have marched out that day and gotten a bunch of lottery tickets! lol Even I know that's a serious lightning strike.

Woolmark

Hello, it's been mentioned elsewhere (can't remember the thread, sorry) that the woolmark logo, which is on the photos of your jacket, was launched in 1964 so 70's seems possible. Maybe later..
