Johnny Depp's Fedora

Mr. Depp refers to this hat as "My old friend". Any ideas on what make etc it is?

I see your point but he is calling the hat my "old friend". How old could it be if Steve (Fedora) made it for him? There was a post about Steve making a celebrity bound hat. Do we think this is it? Did Depp commission a hat prior to Fedora's post about the celebrity hat and Steve not mention it? Hmm..[huh]

Looks a bit large - must be comfy with all the hair...I've forgotten what it's like!

Just goes to show ya' - everyone looks better with a nice lid, even with the weird snap.

It's a modern Borsy... He shouold wear more vintage, they hold up better.

It is an older thread and I took the link down as I only have so much storage space online. Just do a search of his photos and specify "hat" and one of them should come up. Its a brown Bosalino.

As the thread originator...feel free to talk Depp movies as I respect his work and attitude regarding stardom greatly. I have not seen the Libertine but plan to on DVD...it seems that Depp's performance outshone the movie its self. So...Great acting...not so great movie.
