I think I'd rather spend my money on a traditionally styled wool coat than the poncho/cape. The blouse is kind of cute, though.

Oh great, the cape is back in style for the fall. JUST when I made one, now Ill be trendy :eusa_doh:

And the stigma of that will last a few seasons cause Ill wear it and people will say, "shes wearing a cape, thats so last season" lol

But those ditties are pretty swell.

Last night the guy that I'm dating called me and screams, "TURN TO CHANNEL 4 NOWWW!!!" I turn and there is this whole segment on "achieveing that great retro 40's and 50's look". Oh great, I thought. Now I'll be fashionable for a season or two then unfashionable for about a year afterwards. lol


That blouse is cute. It *sort of* look like that "retro" simplicity blouse in the sewing thread.
