Haha, well, it's happened, I'm a jacket nerd. Have a look at 7:04 in this film:

Looks like a B-6, it really is a handsome jacket.

Be sure to subscribe to the channel too, lots of educational videos from the 1940s-60s, some horribly sexist or ignorant, but some are surprisingly insightful. Sometimes the obvious escapes you unless it is pointed out.

In that era (1951) it was probably a real issue one that his dad brought home or purchased from a surplus store. It looks like new old stock. I've often wished I was a young adult in the '50s. The world wasn't so messed up then. Thanks for sharing the link.

Excellent post...great catch on that jacket - looks like a B-6 to me...and the story of Howard and his frustrating report card was a real gem. I've got to look into that production company, Coronet. I think they did a lot of psychologically oriented projects.
