Though badly photographed, these might be rather nice. Bedford Cord is the most fantastic heavy, hard-wearing cloth. These are modern but made in a vintage style with 23 inch bottoms (the most common width for the original Oxford Bags).

They're not my size, but lovely cloth. Good fit too. Who makes them? I might order a pair.

They were made by Bookster. I have had a few things made by them. It's worth contacting them, they are very approachable.

I used to have a pair of white cashmere cords. They were a bear to keep clean but boy were they comfy.
