Is this leather jacket ugly or cool?

I'm a fan of X-Men and planning to buy a Black Leather jacket online
I'm into dark colours, prefer leather that's smooth and doesn't have a lot of creases. Dislike jackets that look too gothic. This one to me looks good for a night out or having a family meal.

What do you all think?

Ignore the price lol.

EDIT: I'm amazed how this thread can possibly award me a neg rep. It's not even a controversial topic. -______-

the picture is small so i can't make much out from the picture. also, i don't know much about x-men and so do not know how that translates into what kind of jacket you're looking for... smooth leather that doesn't crease or develop much of patina maybe easily found at any mall. but you know, if you like the look and fit, who cares what we think go for it and enjoy! :)

Hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like one of the "A2 inspired" type jackets that were popular in the Eighties. The description of the "patriotic" motif sounds like it would be rather gaudy for my tastes, but maybe you just mean this general style of jacket rather than this jacket in particular? If you want something with a lot of decoration, I'd be more inclined towards a Flying Tigers / American Volunteer replica jacket - see, for example, the ones produced by US Wings (no claim made here as to accuracy or quality, I am simply providing this link for pictures of the general look): http://www.uswings.com/ftigers.asp If you go that route, though, do be prepared for Top Gun comments (my hatred of that film is one reason I've never quite pulled the trigger on something like this).

Alternatively, you might consider a plain A2 reproduction from one of the many companies that do repros of A2s - many of them will do you one in black if requested. Are you after a particular era of jacket, or is it more that general style? If a modern A2 would do your job, you might well find a black one of those (or even if you're open to the dark, seal brown issue colour you definitely will find one of those) significantly cheaper than paying for a WW2 repro. You'll find people on this sit prefer repros of the WW2 period jackets, but no ponit paying extra for that expertise if it's not what you want.

I don't mind the cut and the pockets on the jacket. The zippers are a little suspect. And glossy leather is not really my thing. My humble opinion.

to be honest my good fella, it sorta reminds me of the movie Wild Hogs hahaha I don't know what it is about it, but it does :)

Now that's a film deserves to be remade as a serious flick, with Tarantino in the chair.... I'd have the ending with one of the Hogs standing up to the bikers, being beaten to death for his pains, which in turn inspires the townsfolks to stand up and expel the other gang with forceful retribution. I was never one for easy, "happy" endings.

FYI- the OP was a spammer and that jacket is a spam link.

Ah, I did wonder about halfway into my post, but thought I'd give this one the benefit of the doubt.
