Is anyone else obsessed

Sounds about like my mother--if she can't watch NCIS, Criminal Minds, SVU or (grudgingly tolerated substitute) L&O: Criminal Intent anytime she feels like it, she pitches a fit. The odd USA Marathons and Ion's several-hour-straight blocks have spoiled her... she did this with Food Network before her current obsession, and I'm dreading what's next.

She turns into an Amurrican I-dull zombie, though, and I'm gone with the guns and whatever else of value I can gain legitimate control over... including the NCIS season-box-sets. Or, perhaps I make good on her wish that I be more like Dr. Reid in CM... by having her committed. Purely for her own good, of course.

Absolutely. NCIS picked up wonderfully well, right about where JAG's wheels flew off. It remains, to this day, one of about three shows in current production that I make an effort to see every week.

There isn't much about that show that I don't love, but Abby in particular. Plus, they've used both KMFDM and Collide (two of my favourite bands) multiple times, as background in Abby's lab :)

I have the two disc set. I believe that it is the latest that they have release.

I can't for the life of me get into any of the other alphabet shows, as I call them. They just don't do anything for me.

Don't even get me started on American Idol.

The disc set that I have is from when Tony is working undercover. I specifically remember the Blue October song Kangaroo Cry playing when he burned the letter from his girl in the fireplace.
Yeah, that's the first one.

I'd love it if they'd release another two-disc set that's just music from Abby's lab.

Hey, they're her substitutes... Criminal Minds I'm OK with 'cause of Reid having the same neuropathology as I do, but other than that once NCIS is off, if I can't get Burn Notice then I'm straight over to History Channel or Food Network--or the DVD box-sets.

And I'd like soundtracks with just the instrumentals, myself...
