International Hat Trade Paper Ads from Hutmacher - Zeitung Berlin (1898/99)

I have received scans of Hutmacher - Zeitung (Hat Maker News) Berlin for the years 1898-99 and came across ads for other trade papers. Many on here are aware of "The American Hatter" but probably not the others. These were the major hat making countries in the world at that time.

Nice, Steve. I notice that the text from the French one is in German. Zetung operating in Paris, but only as a retailer?

I've seen issues of the American Hatter. I wonder if anyone has any of the other magazines out there.

Randall, I think they are just saying it's similar. I am pretty sure "Revue de la Chapellerie" is a French trade paper.

Steven, I have scans for "Hutmacher - Zeitung" and "Oesterr. - Unger. Hutmacher - Zeitung" from different time periods. I had them made from archives in Germany and Austria. I am going to look into the other Euro trade papers when I get a chance. I know some years of "The American Hatter" are available online (Google Books) but I am not sure about "The Hat Review".

Update....

I found (on Google Books) a copy of the "Fur Trade Review" (Vol. 26, August 1898) which was published and edited by the same people as the "Hat Review". Hopefully copies of the "Hat Review" will eventually become available on Google Books.
