Are they supposed to look all swollen at the toes like Bugs Bunny feet, or is that something to do with the angle from which they're photographed?

They're photographed from several angles, actually, and I don't see a Bugs Bunny resemblance.

I think they've got a certain vintage quality to them.

I've not seen them in person yet, though.

I don't disagree with that. I generally like to do my own distressing.

Depends on how far they go with it, though. That's why I'd want to see them in person first.

I'm not interested in a distress dress shoe either at $225 but I'd definately like a pair of them at a reasonable price... why does everything that's got a little bit of style to it have to be outrageously priced, I mean..$225 ? Come on, and they'll probably sell tons of 'em too. But I for one like the look of the brown wingtips, they'd look great w/ jeans.

You could get a rather nice pair of Loakes for roughly the same price and I know which I would rather have.

Just my 2c/d worth.

I think they look all right. However for that price I'm skeptical. I doubt the workmanship would reflect that of what a $250 shoe should be. I think for that price I'd rather get a pair of Johnston & Murphy shoes. Good quality materials, sturdy construction, and a very nice selection. Just my personal recommendation.
