I have just obtained a Borsalino with the word "film" on the sweatband at the front. The label underneath, as has been referred to by others in the lounge regarding dating, gives the following numbering:
cod. 114105 col. 0421 and then a separate number. 00A013420 with a number 61 underneath at the end.
Can anyone guide me further about the hat including the approximate manufacture date please? The hat also has the name J.J. Hat Center, Fifth Avenue, New York, printed on the lining.
