You can serach the forum for Dorfman Pacific and see what those guys think of them.

A side note, Although not officially licensed by the studio, Adventurebilt, made all of the hats for the new Indiana Jones move, not Dorfman Pacific. Adventurebilt makes custom IJ hats and has plans to have a factory produced hat soon.

Herbert Johnson made the hat for Raiders of the Lost Ark

Some other good sources of IJ hats are:

A very nice hat..

Jimmy Pierce http://jimmypiercedesigns.com, Art Fawcett http://www.vintagesilhouettes.com and others also make custom hats adn I'm sure you would be happy with anything they produce.

Club Obi Wan has plenty of info on the subject.

I'm not really looking for an Indy hat. Just happened to come across it. Wonder how Adventurebilt is going to like the license going somewhere else......or sharing the license with someone else, as the case may be.

I don't think they're worried about it. They have the rights to the authentic movie block shapes, and they will be selling in a different portion of the market, really. AB knows that they have the best, and that their factory versions will be the best factory offering possible. The right people will know the truth (or find out)! :D
