I'm scared!!!

Ok, this is a Myspace problem... I tried not once, not twice but, 10 times to log into my Myspace account... the second time I tried, I made sure I typed it all in correctly... I then typed it in correctly 7 more times! I don't know what this means... did some one hack into my account and change my pass word? Some one pretending to be me?

Well, I sent a message off to Myspace support and I'm waiting a reply. If any one here who are in my friend's list, send me a message to see if I get a notice in my personal email, that would be good... because if I get a notice, that means I'm still the user of MY profile... if I don't, something’s wrong!

Any help would be swell!

This recently happened to my friend; he tried contacting Myspace several times and never got a real response. He even tried changing his password, but the new one didn't seem to work either. About 10 days later, his password worked again and he was able to log on just fine. He has no idea what was wrong but his personal email, etc. was not affected.

Well, I checked my email, no notice. They usually come pretty fast! I should have had it by now... I'm not sure what's going on here... this is so retarded! I just want to work on my page, and check my messages... since I'm not getting any notices of new messages, who knows what I'm missing... oh this sucks!

Ever since Tom sold out, things have been getting worse on "Myspace" it's almost not even worth it... I liked it the way it used to be!

Well, I tried something... I clicked forgot password... it said that my password was sent to my email... well, I checked it, it was! But, get this, it was one number off from what I have been using the WHOLE TIME!!! How is this? Why has it changed?

So, I'm now signed in, says no new messages but, I checked in my inbox and there are two... on from a friend and the other from Neecerie (who is a good friend I might ad) so... this is weird why I haven't gotten any new message notices at all! Stupid brain-dead monkeys... they don't know a keyboard from a Big Mac! Tom pretty much left his baby in the hands of the Marx Brothers!

Wildroot, the exact same thing happened to me this morning. No matter how many times I correctly typed my username and password, I kept getting the "this user has either cancelled or deleted their membership" error. It lasted about 4 hours, then I was able to log in again as normal, and my account was just fine. Now, however, I can't retrieve any of my messages!

I think it is just problems with their site. Wait a little while and try again, but don't panic.

I can't dp anything! Can't log in, can't see my page. Been like this for two days. To top it all off, some electrical thing got struck by lightening at about six pm, and we have no power!! Sitting in the dark, stealing someones wireless service, can't get a room in the entire city because the Sox are playing. No MySpace, no electricity, hotter than he double hockey sticks, not a good nigh for Daisy and Hem

There was an article last night on my start page saying that MySpace had a server farm go down due to power outtages in California, and not knowing how long it would take to straighten out all of the problems from that.

They have had some power outages recently and that can cause all kinds of weirdness.
My page was completely missing the entire layout and all info except for friends list and comments, yesterday it was back to normal. Today? Who knows? [huh] Probably still okay,....

Yep - to hold backup copies of the items on their websites. And backup generators may kick in so data's not lost, but most backup generators only supply a small portion of what they normally need to keep operating a peak efficiency. And one server may hold the account names, another the photos, another the passwords, etc. and normally they all talk together and things work invisibly. But if one piece of the chain goes down, it fouls up everything else down the line, and can take hours or days for everything to get back to normal. The data's all there and safe...it's just things aren't quite synched up right and talking to each other properly yet.
