I'm looking for a budget Cartier tank

As the title says, I'm looking for a watch that is similar to this one, but not the price of a genuine Cartier, and definitely not a fake.

So you only want to buy a Cartier tank, and you're not willing to pay the price of a Cartier tank. Sounds like the search for the Holy Grail.

Buy used. There is a huge market in used high end watches. If you really want a cartier watch you probably won't be happy with a lesser brand. Otherwise, there are plenty of "tank' style watches at all price points.

Try the website Timezone .com and go to their Sales Corner. I'm sure you will find used cartiers.

Though the face and case are quite generic, the winding stem/knob is not so common on a modern watch. Buy vintage! They're everywhere. Lovely sapphire- or emerald-bearing ones. Mmmm.

Anything modern production is gonna cost you. Vintage you'll pick up for tuppence.

Rotary used to do quite a passable imitation of a Cartier tank in their "Elite" range. A mechanical watch as well, if that's important to you. I'm wearing one at the moment. No fancy winding knob though!

I'm not looking for a Cartier one, but a watch by another brand that is not as expensive.
