While I have a Southern relative who proudly refers to himself as a "red neck", it's generally considered a disrespectful derogatory term. When you add racism to it with the qualifier "white South", you pretty much have a post that's going on I get you in trouble.Where there's a will, there's a way. If folks from the Northern states can communicate with the rednecks down in the 'white South'...anything's possible.
Personally, I've been called Spic, cracker, honky, and "white boy". I don't like any of it.
I don't know how tough the moderators are in this forum, but I don't think it's worth testing.
