A couple of years ago I found this photo of my grandfather and his brother taken in the 30's. They look like a couple of gangsters.
Jimmy the brain and Frankie the muscle...
It makes me wonder if they were bootlegging on the Great Lakes or something.
Grampa did like his whiskey.

This is a Photo of My Grandparents taken in The late forty's They look like they were happy. That didn't last long by 1955 my Grandfather had drowned on the job and he left my grandmother to raise 12 kids and take care of the farm.
