ID request on Brooks jacket

Hi all. Could I please get an ID request on this jacket? I don’t have it in my possession, so I only have the pictures to offer as reference.

From my understanding of the gold label, it’s from 1978 or earlier. The size label is missing, though it’s said to fit between a Medium and a Large.

Interesting. What are the tell tale signs that show it's a women's jacket? I'm more familiar with Schotts, but not with Brooks models. The owner says their grandfather wore it for many years.

Darts in the chest area. 100% female jacket. The grandfather might have worn it, but more likely it is just a tale.
