I won this hat on Ebay, but I'm not sure exactly what this hat is.

Can anyone offer any tips or suggestions on what to wear with this hat?

Also, does anyone know the approximate age of it?

I hope you like it. It is a very stingy brim, late 60's or even later. Wow. Such a large size and such a narrow brim. Is this the look you have seen others wear, films, photos, etc.? And you like the look of this hat?

I may sound biased, but anything under 2 1/2 inches is too small for me.

Style changes whether it looks good on us or not!!! Andy is right, the hat is mid to late 60s when the brim was it's most narrow. the closest hat that comes to mind is one that Bruce Willis wore in "The whole nine yards" although his was straw. There are guys that this looks good on, like some musicians. It really depends on your face shape and build, but in this case I think attitude has a bit to do with it also. I've met alot of fun loving guys that this fits just right!!
