Thanks for the help and responses to my last post. I had begun to believe there was no place for the "common" man to buy a panama hat. I have really enjoyed your site. But can you offer help one more time. I read a March 06 posting on Panama Hats Direct. Unfortunately I have also dealt with them but am yet to get my hat. I would love to hear public or private comments regarding this vendor as I may still have time not to lose my money. Thanks.

if you havent done that id take care of such a detail first.

In defense of Montecristi vendors: At times certain sizes are very hard to get depending on quality. I've had hats take 6-9 months or longer because my commissioned hats have been sold out from under me. Not fair in USA, but quite normal in Ecuador.

I would cancel the order and order one from Robert Weber... You will get a much better hat at a fair price... I've been there done that with the other vendor. I could say more but this should be enough...
