I need a tutor.

Ladies! I hope one of you would be divine enough to accept a mission. The mission, should you choose it, will be to help me learn how to take a vintage pattern and scale the size UP...significantly, beyond the tiny sizes of the said pattern. I only need to do this once, and I'll mostly likely understand the concept and be able to apply it to everything else that I want to do.
I will even be willing to pay you or do something in exchange...I'm fairly handy with the knitting needles.
Would anyone be willing to help me? Please send me a PM.

Please post a picture of the pattern, and tell us what size it is and what measurements you need it to be. These things are important factors for how difficult of a project it's going to be.

Also, please say how soon you need it by. If you need it by next weekend so that you can sew it in time for your holiday party, well, that's tough. If you're flexible, it might be more do-able for someone.

Oh yeah...good idea. Pictures! I've had some nice volunteers already...but it wouldn't hurt to post it.
I don't need anything very soon...although I'm hoping to learn how to do this for a dress for my 30th birthday coming up.
