I was thinking the same. A great piece to wear around the American Southwest. If I were visiting NM or AZ, I'd throw that on! With some boots and jeans, man, you'd be the hippest cat in the coffee house!
I really liked this jacket on Jamie Foxx

Couldn't tell if it was suede or cotton but it looked cool as Hell.
It's long been a desire of mine to own a fringed buckskin jacket (too many Westerns as a child). In the 80's there was a trend over here in the 'Billy' scene for fringed jackets..I've probably missed the boat...
I was thinking Billy Jack, LOLI always referred to these as 'Billy' jackets, not for the Rockabilly scene though but rather 'Billy' played by Dennis Hopper from Easy Rider.
Had to look that up Scott.I was thinking Billy Jack, LOL

In the 70's, there was a here today, gone tomorrow fad, a very expensive fad, chamois leather, military style shirts. They had two breast pockets and epaulettes. Just as the fashion started to wane some bright spark added fringes, that gave the trend another three months or so. Any Londoners, my age, will remember Kensington Market. There was a stall holder there selling them at about the cost of a month's wages. And we were all mug enough to buy. Hey-ho, to be young and foolish.I had a suede fringed jacket years ago and loved it.
