Looks fine to me. The jeans a little higher would make for a better fit, but I'm the same way. Nice username.

I just kinda wear my jeans super low slung. The jacket comes to just below my hip bones

2-3 inches would put it at the frank and beans, haha.

from the pictures, you seem like someone who knows what you want with your personal style, jacket looks great, the side of the chest looks a bit painfully snug when zipped up, if the leather is on thinner side I would settle with it, but if the leather is thicker and you do activities in it 1 size bigger is probably ideal and have less corset effect when fully zipped.

I wear my jeans super lowrise myself I wouldn't comment on that haa:D

Fit for itself looks good.

Your clothing style looks like what I call the "relaxed" style, low jeans, shirt not tucked in, which for itself is a commonly seen and accepted style and many guys pull it off with great success. I'm not sure though whether a CR fits that style, because a CR has for me always had a bit of a "all business, no non-sense, badassery, more stern"-aura as opposed to your "relaxed" clothing theme. tl, dr: I'm not sure a CR fits your clothing style, I'd pair your clothing style with a leather jacket that also oozes relaxedness, like a bit wider fitting hip length car coat.

The CR is still a good fit if you want to settle with that style, though.

he approves your jacket length

The length thing aside, that's a matter of taste, I would say it's on the too tight side. When the pic is brought up to full size, you can see that the chest area is piling up on the lower body because there isn't any *give*. Should note, the wearer isn't oversized, it's the jacket that's the wrong size.

I don't wear low rise jeans, and prefer to have my jacket cover my belt buckle. With my military background, I am pretty much unable to wear my shirt tails untucked. Other than that the fit looks good.

If you're after a "racing shirt" style it's perfect. If you're more interested in having it function as a jacket then it may prove a bit too snug. Either way it looks great. Don't fret it too much. Posting here means you'll likely own at least a dozen more jackets and you can refine the fit along the way:D

K got me convinced I could pull off leather pants. Unfortunately, I'm built like an early man so I look nothing like him in leather. It's true though that K is uber cool and the last good thing to come out of KOF and SNK in general. Psycho Soldier Team and Ikari Warriors 4 lyfe, tho.

Guys, forget the pants. jeatherlacket is wearing his jeans super low. Proportionally, the jacket is awesome. 26" back or so, I'd say. Maybe even more. Looks great to me.

DING! DING! DING! We have a winner....

To add length to that jacket would make it look all sorts of wrong, even if it did make it come down past the beltline on those jeans. There's only so far you can change the relative dinemnsions of these classic designs before it throws the balance all off and it just looks wrong. The rise on those jeans must be six inches or less....

Whether it's too tight in the body is, I think, a matter of personal taste. It's definitely very snug, but if that works for you.... I'd get some sensibly waisted denim and forget about it.... find a second jacket a size bigger if you want to wear a thick shirt under it rather than a t-shirt.

Overall, bit of an early (74-76) Dee Dee Ramone vibe to the whole....
