And note that you copy and paste the IMG CODE ... You will see that code listed when you do the right click per the instructions above. :)

If you use Photobucket, and maybe other remote servers, an IMG code will be listed under the photo when you "hover" over the photo. You can copy and paste that address in the message without doing anything more.

Sizing

I am having trouble figuring out how to control the size of photos when I move them over from Photobucket. They come out really large when included as part of a post rather than as a link. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

You will probably need to shrink the photos. Several ways to do that. I can't remember if Photobucket has a shrinkage tool, but I believe it does. If not there are several online services that do it for free.

Something between 50 to 150 KB seems to work the best. If you have to select the length and width in pixels, you will need to keep the same ratio as in the original, or the photo will look skewed.

For example if the photo is 1600 x 1200 and you want to reduce it, you would need to to keep the same ratio such as 800 x 600 or 400 x 300. That would make it half the original size in the first example and one fourth the original in the second, and the subject would remain proportionate.

Hope this makes sense.
