How repairable is this jacket?

I thought some of you ladies who are experts with a needle and thread would be able to help me out.

Im considering buying a rather rare reversible jacket, but there is some wear on the sky blue side that is causing me to hesitate. Is this a repairable job or should I pass it up? Thanks!

I wouldn't. There's no way to repair that without it being really noticeable - unless you want to pay a lot of money to see if someone can reweave it for you.

Reversible jackets aren't THAT rare - I've seen both mens and womens ones on numerous occasions.

Repeat,

I don't know how repairable that is since the integrity of the fabric in that area is starting to break down from wear. You could try to mend it but it would be an eyesore. I have seen products in a local notions shop that you can treat the fabric with to prevent further fraying but I don't know how your fabric will react.

I would probably save myself the future heartache and pass on it.
