How many of you guys ordered from the Aero sale?

I'm working overtime as much as possible to try and work through initial checks, unfortunately Chloe is also on holiday for a few days, and combined with how insanely busy enquiries have been during the sale its taking some time to get through the backlog. I am working tirelessly to get through them as quickly as possible but it may take a week or two, currently working on orders placed around 9 days ago.

Orders are put through production from their 'customer confirmed' date, this is only done when all order details are fully confirmed, and as Denny has said it can take a lot of work to get from initial order to order being fully confirmed, which is why it takes quite some time to work through a backlog of orders like this. The intake of sales orders was far bigger than anticipated, so please do bear with us a little, we'll be in touch as soon as we can!

Thanks :)
Legend! Thank you!

Your first Aero? I think you can rest assured. When the time comes, Aero will get in touch with you and all your details will be checked/finalised before it goes into production. Just wait and enjoy the anticipation.
3rd through Aero. They have been usually very quick to send follow-up emails for confirmation. Just want to know if my spot on line is when I bought it of of after the confirmation process.

Indian Ranger in Vicenza blackened brown. Has Aero since increased it's prices? Can't remember some of their jackets being as much as £1000 before the sale.

Oops, just saw you guys talking about it.

I got that same mass email and then Holly followed up and confirmed my measurements. I did change my lining at the last moment. My order should be starting construction. chestnut badalassi J106!!
(the KOTR back would have been an extra 150 pounds for me, so no thanks)

Not yet, but Chloe has been very quick to answer any questions I have and advise on sizing. I'm a previous Aero customer so we didn't have to do a lot of back and forth about measurements other than making sure the slimmer 30's cut of the Wayfarer would work in my usual size. I'm anticipating it going into production within the week but tbh I won't be able to wear it until it gets cooler so I'm not really worried about it. One thing I did notice after the sale was that Aero seems to have discontinued several of their models.

edit: actually I think i misunderstood your question, I did get an email telling me the jacket was "awaiting production", but not that it had entered production

I tend to the view, tbh, you're best as a rule sticking with the set design for the most part. Aero know what they're doing when they create the standard.

Presumably many of you revieived the Aero newsletter and have seen they are having a "Suede September" with college and jean jackets available at 33% off the made-to-order price.

Yeah it went up like 300. I had hoped to order one to replace the Ridley Indian Ranger (which I didn't intend to be a Ridley).

Doing it over I'd go black jerky over blackened vicenza though.

Japanese jackets in larger sizes are at least ¥240,000 plus right now, that's just under $1,650 before you have to add the import cost.

American jackets, for the most part, are still $1,200 to $1,600 for the ones made with premium leather. Although they're also increasing prices too so that may change soon.

Aero jackets are about £1,000 after the price increase. That's $1,350.

Aero truckers are under priced before by quite a bit, but is over priced now after the adjustment. I hope they can re-look at this particular model again. There are certain things Aero do well with this model, but the post price increase price is a bit high by comparison. Generally speaking Xzips are the most expensive regardless where it is made. Longer coats are always expensive new but biggest depreciation on used market. And trucker jackets, even Japanese made ones, are not priced at the top of the line up, usually mid tier pricing. Even from over priced brands like RMC, their current Type I jacket is ¥264,000 and their current J-24 jacket is ¥330,000. Either the Vincent is under priced by £100, or the trucker is over priced by £100, that's just my personal opinion, seller always has the right to sell at whatever price they'd like.

In my closet right now, I've got equal amounts of Japanese jackets and American jackets, and half that is UK jackets, so 40%/40%/20% mix. I'd like to think that I am only keeping what I perceive to be the best in each individual design category. My advise is not to limit yourself at the start, Japanese/American/European. But instead look at the same design precision worldwide logistics from all over, compare prices, get the most you can for your money.
Fortunately, people frequently mess up Aero orders, which means the pre-owned market offers plenty of options. A used Aero typically struggles to sell for more than $600, with most auctions ending around $550 or less. I completely agree with your perspective.

Anyone received their custom order from the sales period? It took a long time to lock in my measurements, which was my fault. My order has been sitting as "customer confirmed" for nearly a month. Patience is a virtue and all that but the wait is killing me :)
