Just wanna say ordered my first real leather jacket like 10 minutes ago. I have a first manufacturing crusader jacket (with armor, size s) from last year that I wear during the winter when riding my z400. This time it's a schott 689H, size 36. I've tried it on before in the Soho store so Im pretty sure the fit is good. Can't wait to share some pics! Also next year, IF I do prove to myself that I do actually enjoy wearing this, (and thus NOT be a closet queen) I might consider an aero vincent or some other crosszip just for variety. BTW schott has 15% off currently with code morepie2023 only thru this weekend.

That Aero is very cool but there's no doubt now, you on the fast lane of the Tom Ford for Gucci leather blazer highway. Vintage, of course. 54R. Calf, of course. We weren't enduring the most uncomfortable leather jackets imaginable all these years, only to end up wearing some thin-ass lambskin. Either way, time to say good bye to the work-wear / biker losers and their Carhart's and their Perfectos and their cuffed jeans.

Just bought this combo jacket by Glover of Dubuque, Iowa. Late 1940s. Never owned one of their jackets. A most interesting company. I have one of their catalogs from the late 30s. Even in this condition I'm quite excited by this arrival. what an interesting jacket.

I swore I would not become a denim collector. There are so many "off' Brands that are cheap. This got this Sears size 46.

I'm thinking this "Roebucks" label is 1960s. I have a piece of Sears memorabilia with the Roebucks label. It does not show up often.

its late 60s early 70s, the white labels are earlier than the black label.

I too have started dipping my toes into the less popular denim jackets that are affordable to buy, here's my Sears Roebuck for the 60s.
