How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

In a fortuitous twist, DHL went ahead and just delivered my Aero today instead of tomorrow. Now that's service!

Wow man!!! That is outstanding! It looks regal! Is it lined in alpaca or shearling?
Thank you! Julie Leitch at Aero did a great job on it, definitely worth the money. It's lined in brown alpaca, I can already tell it's going to be a great cold weather jacket. My first Aero experience has definitely been positive.

Edit: the fit is dead-on too. Holly at Aero was so knowledgeable and helpful when it came to sizing and what I wanted.

I just bought this Windward. Many thanks to @ton312

This design has been on my radar since I saw that Mushmans made a reproduction of it a couple of years ago.

I had never seen a vintage one for sale and the Mushmans had been sold out so I asked Greg (field leathers) whether he could make me one. He said he could but without the cording because he doesn't have a double needle machine. Stitch lines without cording seemed a bit lame to me so I said thank you but no, let's do a different design.

I'm glad @ton312 spotted this vintage one. Fingers crossed it fits :)
That jacket is awesome!

Can people stop talking about custom clearance and delievry time, please! I have two shipments from UK (not Aero) en route since March 23. Status updates from UPS are inconclusive to put it mildly and boil down to some unspecified Brexit-issues. At the same time, shipments from the US are without any issue. Not that the US are part of the EU, AFAIK...

Import duties are fair game for me; it is what it is, but the apparent inability to design an efficient process, four month into the nerw regime is breathtaking.
I feel for you The last two jackets I received from the UK and one from Japan arrived in less than 48 hours. But it not like everything in the US runs like a precision clock.

This morning I bought this womens Harro, probably 70s. Bought it from the first owner, a really nice German lady. When I told her that I collect leather jackets she looked at me like I was nuts. "But why do you want this one, it sure won't fit".

Turns out it's a perfect fit for my girlfriend. Although she thinks it a bit heavy, she likes it a lot. Great leather and very well made. @Robbie79 I think this is the women's version of the Harro you bought last week.

This is Harro's lighter leather, same my gf's jacket is made of. But it's not light at all, just softer and a bit more silky than regular Harro.
Man, it's made SO well.

I just received this Eastman A1 capeskin flight jacket. The smell of the vegetable tanned leather is intoxicating. The moment I opened the pouch it brought back memories of the many leather workshops I've visited in Florence.

The leather is lightweight but not at all flimsy. It pickes up scratches really easily but I think that's part of the charm of the jacket.

This is a pic af a well worn Eastman A1 @John Lever posted some time ago. I hope my jacket will look like this some day :)

@Marc mndt Congrats. Looks really nice and I can imagine how it smells :) Condition seems to be really good. And here comes the question of all questions. How does it fit?

You had to do this so early on this Monday! One thing I love about your posts is those pictures capturing details and that stunning leather! Never been to a workshop in Florence but just the thought of that smell makes me plan a trip as soon as it's safe.

I bought this jacket second hand but it was listed as 'new without tags'. Considering how easy this jacket picks up scratches, I really think it has never been worn.

It's a t-shirt only fit. The sleeves are narrow and the armholes are really high. I can see why people would size up with this fit. But for me personally, I think sizing up would make it look blousy. I'm 100% happy with the fit of the 42, which is my regular size. I'll post some fitpics later this week.
