How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I jus received the ELMC Californian, boy is it a nice jacket! The fit is spot on too, I'll post pics tomorrow as it's night time now.
With this beauty I jus received and the custom Aero Buco J-100 I just ordered via Thurston I pronounce my leather jacket collection well and truly done and dusted, if anything I'll sell some of them, but I truly feel I don't need/want anything else.
Thank goodness, now I can find something else to focus my OCD on. Please let it be something cheap this time...

Fedoras are cheaper...usually. Same buzz, just a different part of your body to enhance.

I'm shoring up the details with Stuart now. Lost Worlds Ryder in heaviest available russet brown HH is incoming. As@Hh121 had suggested I will be opting for full flightnylon quilt throughout. Should be an absolute tank of a jacket. I'm required to pay full balance upfront for the request of heaviest hide so the seal vic is up for sale. PM if interested.

Yeah I’m always doubtful about full payment upfront. There is no incentive for the merchant to get the goods to you quickly when they have already been paid...

Perhaps I suggest 1/2 down and balance upon completion? I'd be lying if I said it sits very poorly with me.

Yeah but did you pay full balance upfront? Not the business model I'm used to. 1/2 to 3/4 is one thing. Hell Aero doesn't charge squat 'till it's ready to ship. It's given me a bit of pause.

Yes. See my post above. Aero, SB and Vanson, Himmel maybe all makers don't require full payment before the jacket is finished. Unless of course it's an off the rack item. As PN noted the incentive for timely completion is all but lost if you give up the full purchase price without knowing you'll ever receive anything. And this is not my first LW purchase. I can see a deposit. But not the full price.

Totally. It appears as if I'll need to compose another email to Carrie. I hope there are collar options for the 50's HB. The 30's pattern is great but I'm a block of a man. I love the LW pattern but it appears times have changed there and my comfort level is greatly diminished. Shame. I want that super heavy hide. I suppose I will be able to make the subtle mods I want tho. Without fear. It seems I am Aero for life. Not hard to see why.

Not always HD. A deposit is more than reasonable. A full boat payment is bullshit. Stu refused to take a dime before my j23 was ready to ship. That was 2012 tho. I guess things are different now. Count me out. There has to be some level of meet me half way for comforts sake.
