How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Great jacket, I love it, besides being quality built Albert Richard labels are so cool. Been watching, dealing with the seller for a bit but never could get her to upload a pic with measurements. Her measurements were pretty iffy but I was pretty sure it’d be too small for my 44 size. Guess if I was young and handsome I could’ve got the measurement:D. Oh well you know the story about the young bull and the old bull:cool:.
Well I’m neither but I am a huge pain in the ass. That said I couldn’t get her to load decent pics either. I suspect it’s a size 40” which will make it too small for me as well. I just had to find out and the price is low impact enough to justify the risk!

Tanks to @Monitor and @Guppy for their help in encouaging me to buy this Walter Dyer. I can’t wait to try out this lesser collected American maker.

There were two on eBay (38 & 40). I ended up going with the larger one which leaves the 38 for someone who is a 36ish. The seller on that one has been very helpful with all the measurements, so if anyone wants to be Leather Brothers- I’m game. :)

Now there's a third .. in 36 up!

That seller's in my city, I actually bought an old WD for my wife from him before. I'd love to see fit pics w/ guy you grabbed as I've always been curious what they look like ON somebody. I pass the old WD store often as it's right around the corner. It was always a trip going in there, very old school, it felt like time slowed down a little .. and if I was wearing something <other> than a WD I always got kind of a disapproving, sideways look.

Waiting for my Timberline to be returned from Langlitz. I always regretted not getting hand warmer pockets when I had the jacket built - as I was traveling thru Portland mid-July, I took the opportunity to stop in at Langlitz and have the jacket altered. Tracking shows jacket is out for delivery.

Jacket arrived. I imagine I'll probably wear the jacket more often now.

I’ve never cried over a jacket that’s too small to wear. Until today:( Easily the nicest Halfbelt I’ve ever laid hands on. The interior is mint. With a little Urad this thing will glow and belong among the pantheon of the best jackets I’ve ever touched. Absolute soul crusher!!

I’ll get better picks once she’s polished. The jacket is just stunning. Not sure what to do with it. On the one hand, I have no use for it. On the other, I just love owning it. But I don’t really want to collect in that way. In my size, it’s the absolute end of the road, and that’s probably why it doesn’t fit.

I feel your pain. I watched that one for awhile even thru out a lowball offer as I knew it would probably be way too small. What was the actual pit-pit? She listed 20.5” and 21.25”. Truly a fine looking unique vintage piece even if you can only pull it out of the closet once in awhile to admire.

It’s just shy Of 22”. The shoulders are trimmer than I thought too. Dead on 18”. The quilted liner is very thick. Like Vanson thick. I suspect it’s a 40”. Looking at it I haven’t even dared to put it on. Back length is perfect at 26”. Would need at least an inch in the chest and shoulders to squeeze into it. Even if I went full on Christian Bale machinist I don’t think I could get in it. My bones are just to big for it.

I think this one might be too small for you Marc. I’m going to post it for sale later today when I can get it properly photo’d and measured. It’s a real stunner, and someone here should have it.
If it's 22"-ish ptp, it'll be a perfect tshirt fit for me.
