How Do You Date a Tux? Pics....

Hi all! I had mentioned when I asked about the butterfly bowties a couple weeks back that I'd be working more with the estate people dealing with the couple's belongings, and thought there may be a tux. The ties were 20s but I have no way to know if this was the tux he wore those things with or not....I genuinely have no clue how to date a tux at all. I've got some pictures, not great because its dark & details don't show well w/ flash. Its wool, silk stripes down sides of pants, lapels on jacket & waistcoat. Pants have button fly....no labels anywhere. The 3rd shot is under the arm of the jacket, its a stitch I commonly associate with 20s & older pieces so I'm showing in case it helps.
Here's what I have, I'd love some input on dating this & how you come up with the date you may believe it to be. Thanks so much! Ang

A very nice tux and waistcoat. I'd definitely say early 1930s.
