Good idea for a thread, Dinerman! Hollyvogue had some great offerings, and they were from California, of course...Here's one from c.mid-'50s. "Francaise Moderne," with original price tab:

And notice the price. $3.50 for a tie back then was not exactly cheap when you could get one from Haband for about a buck.
Exactly. And the dollar tie lasted well into the 20th century (even today you can get ties at the dollar store).
