$105 is a heck of a good price, 20% or so of new. If it's in good shape you got a great deal. Post pics when you get it, along with your impressions. It's been about 6 years on since I ordered my custom jacket from Hillside, and it's crazy to think that much time has passed already.
Hi
I will post pictures. I was not really looking to buy another MC Jacket but saw the auction New With Tags so I sent the $105 offer that’s with Free Shipping too.
Hope to get it next week.
Pete

Yes, there leather is thick heavy crap, like a rubber foam. Spongy might be a word to describe it....Real heavy, rubbery, overly soft junk!!

Hi
Thank You. Do you think I made a mistake buying the Jacket?
Thank You
Pete

You'll know when you get it. If you don't like it, you can easily sell it for what you paid, maybe more. It seems that they switched to less attractive leather after i bought mine, but I'm happy with the one they made for me.

Hi
I think all the leather company’s have changed a little. NoT as many leather tanners left in USA.
It is not a $1,000 Jacket but for $100 it’s fine.

Whatever......Thought your were buying a new one. Probably better to just wear it, hit the road and not make a big deal of it!

Mid 60's this morning. Going for a ride, will get into 80's midday.
After my daily reading of The Lounge.
I went through my stack of black leather jackets and came up with the Hillside CR. Thought I'd share.
Haven' t worn it in more than year, has the new leather smell.
I like the midweight horsehide, but not on same level as Aero Horse.

I just pulled mine out to weigh it. With the removable liner in place, it comes in at 9.5 lbs. This surprises me, as I recall it being heavy, but not that heavy. I think it's possibly my heaviest biker crosszip. Maybe I have a Langlitz that can rival it. My Natel cross-zip is close, at 8.5lbs.

Hi
I know some people don’t like a thick heavy leather. But I do. I am used to the Schott Leather from the 1980’s. So heavy they could stand up on its own. Like Shoe Leather.
It looks like Tracking says I will get my Hillside Beltless MC Jacket tomarrow.
Thanks
Pete

I'm sure yours will not be as heavy as this one is, but I hope you like what you get. Looking forward to your update.

Good luck with it Pete! I think you will like it if you like heavier leathers.

I purchased a Gibson & Barnes Coronado off thier sale page back in 2010. It was $395, but the "list" price was $1050 for it. It's out of production now. It was 10.0 lbs without the zip-in liner. Built like a tank. I found out about that comany by asking an airline pilot about his jacket in an airport. Was very good quality, but that was all pre-Fedora-Lounge days for me. It was a "printed" (corrected grain) style of leather and nearly showed no break-in or wear at all. Wore it a lot over the first 3-4 years I had it, then very little the last 4-5. Just a bit too heavy overall. But sometimes I feel I enjoyed leather jackets more before I knew what I know today. Now, I have a tendancey to over-evaluate a jacket's build, hide, stitching, etc, rather than just enjoy it for what it is.

Hello
I received my Hillside Jacket today. I started a New Post. I posted pictures.
It’s better then I could of wished for. Weighs 10lb with Liner. It was New Never Worn with Tags. I think it like the way it’s made better then my Schott 618 in Brown.
The Jacket Leather is Thick but Soft.
