Everyone will have his own opinion, but I say the best all around jacket is the Highwayman. Don't sell your Highwayman. As soon as you sell it, you will wish you had not.
With the zipper configuration, the Bootlegger does look like a motorcycle jacket. I believe Aero says it is cross between an old style flight jacket and a motorcycle jacket, or something similar.
The advantage to working with Mark is the instant contact by telephone. Of course most of the communications are done by email, but when only a direct phone conversation will do, it is much simpler to talk with Mark.
I never like buttons on these jackets. it's cold out when i wear them and i dont want to fuss. maybe all the veste rallye owners on the site have better info. i'm sure Aero would do snaps or closed cuffs. i also think what lining you choose, sleeve lining as well, is an important part of the jacket.
