Hi

First of all a big thank you! This forum has been the answer to many questions I've had recently. I sell clothes online and recently have been receiving a lot of vintage hats which I sell on eBay. Is there any brands I should be looking out for and selling to collectors like yourselves? I prefer these hats to go to people who appreciate them rather then fashionistas who potentially would use them and loose them. I love the history of the hats especially when you get the hats with the initials and address of the original owner. I mostly receive Mayser & Wegner hat's in this delivery I was given a new Wilke hat and a Mossant. Any help with brands I should be looking out for would be appreciated. They are normally all European hats from the 60's- 90's. Thanks Paddy

Too many to recount here, both brands, styles within the brands, and decades of origin. Too hard to summarize. Stetson and Borsalino are always good, as are Knox, Dobbs, Mallory and many others. Just too many, and there is no fixed hierarchy that you can depend on, except that beaver hats command a premium.
