Help! What Color Tie?

I have a Mint or Light Green Dress shirt I want to wear, but I can not find a tie (all from the 1940s) that goes. Any Help? (pants are Tan and my coat is a leather A-2) Thank you!

I have a mint green dress shirt as well. It can be a bit tricky to find a tie that works well. Red, browns or greens seem to look fairly good with it.

I always thought black ties look cool with mint green shirts. Just my two cents though.

I like the combination and note also that these go together so well they were US Army class A since Vietnam until recently. Well, whether the Army shirts were 'mint' is arguable but they were of that general shade.

I just looked at "40's ties page 1" on American Vintage Classics, and saw several ties I think would look good with a mint green shirt (all of the brown/green variety).

When I think of mint green, I think of the brown chocolate to go with it...mmmm chocolate mint....
