Help me with my hat!

Hello,
New here. I was given a hat about 40 years ago by my parents who owned an antique store and knew I loved old hats.
It is a Biltmore, still in the original box. I never wore it and only just found it after storing it at a friends for the past 30 years. TBH I had forgotten all about it. My dilemma is that I want to sell it but I have no idea of it's value, what kind of hat it is or it's age.
I will include pictures of it and the box.
I am interested to know what the style number means, what Col. means and the word written beside it.
Those things are on the outside of the hat box.
The information I know is that it is a Roller hat and the size is 7 3/8, grey green colour.
On the inside of the hat it does say that it is a Royal Biltmore and was hand finished so I am guessing it was made before 1960 as my understanding is that is when they switched to machine finishing? This being in Canada.
I think this group is my last hope for information. I have been researching for quite a while to no avail.
Many thanks!
Christy

A nice hat. Your dating seems to be about right, maybe up in the 60s perhaps. Col might mean Color, but that doesn't seem to make much sense unless Biltmore was playing on the notion that Tyrol (Tyrolean or Austrian style) hats were often the grey/green/blue colors.

Searching Ebay is probably going to give you some ideas regarding price. I suspect the hat may have more sentimental value than monetary value.

I echo Rmcamey's comments. That it is in a popular size is in your favour but Biltmore is not a highly desireable brand. Ebay is always your best bet for sales of items. It reaches the widest audience and the world will tell you the hats worth. It is only worth what someone with cash is willing to pay for it. With Ebay you can place it in a pure auction with a minimum bid.
