The Bates Disciplined Fabric - Made to Behave - ad campaign seems to have started in 1950. I can find ads/mentions with the "Made to Behave" slogan up until 1956. After that, it seems the slogan was dropped. But this info is based on a very quick search so it may not be completely accurate. Also, the ads were for women's clothing and it's always possible the "Made to Behave" slogan lived on, unadvertised, in men's workwear.
