Help me date my Mallory

Does any one know how to date a mallory hat based on the logo?

This hat came from my girlfriends grandfather who recently passed. I thought it was a beauty (loved the old feather, my local hatter said nice feathers like this aren't available any more), her grandmother does not remember him wearing it or when he bought it. I have found an article that says mallory was bought by stetson in 1946 does this mean the hat predates this, or did they continue to make them under the name mallory (and for how long)?

The Mallory name was continued for quite some time after its acquisition by the John B. Stetson Co..

I'm guessing your hat is late 1950s to early '60s, or perhaps a bit later. This estimate is based on the hat's style and the lettering, etc., on the liner.

Start with drinks, maybe coffee. Stick to public places, but avoid crowds. Oh, and send flowers. They always like that.

Easily 1960s. Think Green Acres time period.
The later 60s Mallory's say Mallory by Stetson. I think they started that around 1968.
